A passionate and focused self-starter, with meticulous surgical skills, Dr. Taglienti received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania after completing his undergraduate degree at Yale University. He was Chief Resident of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and University of Pennsylvania Children’s Hospital. As Chief Resident, he worked on microsurgical autologous tissue and expander-based breast reconstructive cases; multiple Chief Residency clinic cosmetic cases; complex hernia repairs, wound debridements; cleft palate and lip repairs; and local rotational and pedicled flaps. In addition to his surgical experience, Dr. Taglienti is an expert in injectable treatments for the face and non-invasive body sculpting techniques, such as CoolSculpting. His research has been published in several professional and medical publications and he has held the position of Assistant Instructor at the University of Pennsylvania.
