Dr. Elan B. Singer received his Medical Degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine before completing his plastic and reconstructive surgery training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. He remained in New York and continued his training as Aesthetic Surgery Fellow at Lenox Hill Hospital and the prestigious Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, where he studied under New York’s top leaders in the field. Dr. Singer is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is skilled in all aspects of plastic and reconstructive surgery of the body, face and breast. He has an added interest in body contouring and aesthetic procedures, which include post-bariatric surgery, abdominoplasty, breast lift, body lift and liposuction. Dr. Singer has had the specific and unique training in both reconstructive and aesthetic surgery that is required for the successful outcome of these procedures. Dr. Singer has performed reconstructive surgery on patients from all over the world and has taken an active role in surgical missions in foreign countries. He has donated his time and surgical expertise to Iraq Star, Inc., a charitable foundation dedicated to providing reconstructive surgery to returning Iraq War Veterans with disfiguring wounds. Dr. Singer is a commissioned officer in the Navy Reserve and is also a Clinical Instructor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He is a member of the Medical Society of the State of New York and the American Society of Plastic Surgery.
